Who We Are

Fencing Company Mansfield installs and repairs fencing across Mansfield and Nottinghamshire from our base on Cambridge Street. We've worked on terraces off Nottingham Road, exposed plots at Berry Hill, and commercial yards in Sutton-in-Ashfield — same standard every time.

We use pressure-treated timber, concrete posts and gravel boards because that's what lasts on Nottinghamshire clay. Close board is built on site, board by board — not slotted panels that blow out when the wind hits Forest Town gardens.

What We Do

All installation work is guaranteed. If something we've fitted fails because of how we installed it, we come back and put it right. We'd rather fix it once properly than argue about it.

How We Work

Every job starts with a site visit or clear photos and measurements. We set posts in post mix at the right depth for Nottinghamshire clay — shallow footings are why fences lean after the first wet winter. On close board runs we use arris rails between posts at 1.8m centres and nail featheredge boards vertically with gaps for expansion.

For panel fencing we prefer concrete posts and gravel boards on anything that gets wet ground. Timber posts are fine on well-drained gardens if you accept they'll need replacing eventually. We tell you which applies to your plot rather than quoting the cheapest option.
